stories, and photos this first issue of Sunburnt takes you on a journey through the four major deserts in the United States; Great Basin, Mohave, Chihuahuan, and Sonoran. Inspired by these sunbleached, vast, landscapes the magazine was printed on newspaper in tabloid format. To complement the printed magazine I created a digital version. Utilizing animation and movement to create a flow and help bring the stories and design to life. This animation was created as a blueprint for a scrollable online version.
